Carle Health:

Carle Health (CH) supports statewide TTA through its Medication-Assisted Recovery (MAR) Learning Collaboratives, equipping prescribers and administrators with 48 hours of expert consultation over six months. CH also delivers educational sessions on harm reduction and recovery-friendly practices, improving provider competency. In workforce development, CH hosts positions for Certified Peer Recovery Specialists (CPRS), Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselors (CADC), and master's-level professionals, creating new career pathways and addressing workforce shortages.

Family Guidance Center:

Family Guidance Center (FGC) advances TTA by integrating MAR services and supporting co-located MAR programs in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Their training addresses regulatory compliance, workflow organization, and technology integration. FGC also bolsters the behavioral health workforce by training peer recovery specialists and professionals in Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPs).

Southern Illinois University:

Southern Illinois University (SIU) delivers trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and stigma-reduction training through webinars, workshops, and learning collaboratives, reaching diverse populations. SIU's Peer Specialist Training Program (PSTP) annually prepares up to 40 individuals for CPRS and Certified Recovery Support Specialists (CRSS) certifications. Additionally, SIU collaborates on the CADC training program, ensuring a pipeline of certified professionals.

Westside Heroin/Opioid Task Force

Westside Heroin/Opioid Task Force:

Westside Heroin/Opioid Task Force (WSHOTF) contributes to TTA by engaging subject matter experts (SMEs) and piloting evidence-based curricula tailored to underserved populations. WSHOTF also hosts internships and fellowships, mentors participants to expand the behavioral health workforce, and delivers train-the-trainer sessions to enhance quality and reach.
